Girl opens iPod, finds wacky note

Filed under: iPod Family, Odds and ends A Washington, DC area father gave his daughter a gift of an iPod classic this Christmas, surely thinking she would be thrilled. Sadly, when his daughter opened the iPod she didn't find everyone's favorite MP3 player waiting for her. Instead she found a note which read, 'Reclaim your mind from the media shackles. Read a book and resurrect yourself. To claim your capitalistic garbage go to your nearest Apple Store,' and a few books about leading a more enlightened life. The father returned the iPod to WalMart, where he purchased it, for a full refund. WalMart explains that this had happened to another person, and that Apple is responsible for it (though it seems much more likely to me that someone bought a few iPods, replaced the devices with these letters, and returned them). First rocks, now letters, what is next to show up in an iPod box? [via Fake Steve] Read | Permalink | Email this | Comments

The cases then shut with a front-covering flap that also covers all or part of one of the device s sides. How that side is covered typically impacts accessory access, while the front s coverage precludes screen and

The two-tone rubber case concept isn t unique to XtremeMac, but it s especially well executed here: each case offers a stylish combination of silicone rubber, augmented with included clear film protection. The iPod nano and classic versions both come with screen and partial Click Wheel protectors missing center Action button covers while the iPod touch version comes with a face protector, which when paired with the rubber case

Review: Speck Products ActiveFit for iPod nano

Basically, ActiveFit is a slight rethinking of Speck s earlier ActiveSport armbands for iPods and nanos, and by slight, there s really only one twist literally. ActiveFit is the first iPod armband we can recall that actually mounts the nano on an off-axis angle rather than straight on, making a nice fashion statement in the process. The new design covers the entire nano save for its bottom headphone port, Hold switch, and part of
