From the Lab: Eight-core 2.8GHz Mac Pro
Apple s latest high-end desktop a 2.8GHz eight-core machine handily beats the 2.6GHz Quad Core Mac Pro it replaces in our Speedmark performance testing. But more encouraging is the fact that the new machine holds its own against an eight-core 3GHz Mac Pro, suggesting that many of the recent internal changes to the Mac Pro line are bolstering
