News: iTunes web traffic up 339 percent Christmas
According to new figures from Hitwise, the market share of visits to Apple s iTunes website jumped 339 percent on Christmas Day from the previous day, as new iPod and iPhone owners went online to download the jukebox software. Overall, iTunes market share of visits reached 0.68 percent on Christmas. In addition, the Apple Store was the ninth most visited website in the Hitwise Retail Index on Christmas, and the market share of visits
