Nearly Identical Fake iPod [Portable Media]
Cunning and clever iPod knockoffs are popping up across the globe. This one specifically was seen in Istanbul. Look at how well those geniuses crafted this'"they even labeled it as an iPod and use the proper lowercase i. I could hardly tell a difference, but the only way I knew it was a fake was because it featured an FM tuner and everyone knows Apple is too cool to use FM tuners in their MP3 players. Filed under: iPod Family, Cult of Mac, iPhone
TUAW reader DoctaBu has come up with a novel way to use Webclips: creating a personal photo album. He placed these all on a separate SpringBoard screen, which he can flick over to whenever he wants. Have you done something extraordinary or unique with Webclips? Let us know! Review - Pure-Fi
Logitech's Pure-Fi Elite bills itself as a "high performance stereo system for iPod" and I'm pleased to report that it pretty much lives up to its own hyperbole and might even exceed it.

Fox DVD Tips iTunes Movie
Rumors began surfacing late in December that Apple and 20th Century Fox signed a deal to include iPod-compatible movies on the studio's latest DVD releases. That rumor seems even more plausible now that a Family Guy DVD due for release on January 15 has made it into the wild: The disc appears to include an iTunes and iPod-compatible version of the movie that requires iTunes 7.6.
