Nearly Identical Fake iPod [Portable Media]

Cunning and clever iPod knockoffs are popping up across the globe. This one specifically was seen in Istanbul. Look at how well those geniuses crafted this'€"they even labeled it as an iPod and use the proper lowercase i. I could hardly tell a difference, but the only way I knew it was a fake was because it featured an FM tuner and everyone knows Apple is too cool to use FM tuners in their MP3 players. They use magic fairy dust! Fake iPod spotted by reader [The Inquirer]

He realized he could have some fun with webclips by building an entire page of nothing but his friends' and family's pictures. He placed these all on a separate SpringBoard screen, which he can flick over to whenever he wants. Have you done something extraordinary or unique with Webclips? Let us know!
Fox DVD Tips iTunes Movie

Rumors began surfacing late in December that Apple and 20th Century Fox signed a deal to include iPod-compatible movies on the studio's latest DVD releases. That rumor seems even more plausible now that a Family Guy DVD due for release on January 15 has made it into the wild: The disc appears to include an iTunes and iPod-compatible version of the movie that requires iTunes 7.6.

iTransport is World's First Purely Digital iPod Dock

Just announced for CES, Wadia Digital's iTransport claims a major feat: to be the first iPod dock on the market to pull content from both iPods and iPhones in pure digital format, bypassing the iPods' internal digital to analog conversion and subsequent audio/video loss. The iTransport claims this not only makes the device an exellent iPod dock, but a digital home media server capable of pulling audio and video from every model iDevice in Apple's product line (and even for $349, that sounds pretty cool). Slated for a February release, we'll give you an ears-on at CES.

The built-in power cell, selected by FastMac's experienced battery engineers and based upon the same charging technology found in the iPod touch, promises to triple the iPhone's battery life. Then there's the built-in iPhone camera flash (!), a
