Salt? Pepper?

Filed under: Humor, iPod Family, Odds and ends If iPods had existed in my youth, my Mom would never have put up with them at the table. There was to be no TV, no radio, no books, no magazines. Dinner time was dinner time and that was the end of it. Times have changed. Today, table-side iPod use has apparently become a common manners problem. Not so at the Fat Duck restaurant, where customers will be encouraged to wear iPods while dining. The Fat Duck Chef, Heston Blumenthal, intends to use iPods to enhance the dining experience. Customers will listen to recordings of breaking waves while eating to make oysters taste stronger and saltier. The restaurant will provide the iPods.
