SAN FRANCISCO -- Apple CEO Steve Jobs on Tuesday noted that Apple sold over five million copies of Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard during its first three months of availability, making it the most successful OS X release in the company's history. He also touted four million iPhones sold since the product's introduction last June, giving the device nearly 20 percent of the U.S. smartphone market.
